Learn to Dive - Scuba diving is fun and easy to learn and is a life-long activity suitable for the entire family.  Come see a different part of our world you never imagined.  There’s a lot to do underwater; photography, seeing fish up close, historic shipwrecks, and experiencing nature as few have.  Explore and enjoy the other two thirds of our world.  There are almost as many reasons to dive as there are divers, but there’s only one good way to learn, and that is under the guidance of a professional instructor.

 

The PADI Open Water Divers course is the world’s most popular scuba course, and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle.

 

 

PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Course - is full certification course allowing you to scuba dive independently of an instructor or dive master.  As a certified diver you will experience amazing dive destinations, marine life, new friends, new adventures, and lot of fun.

 

Knowledge Development:  You learn the theory required to be confident in the water.  The PADI scuba divers education system contains everything you need to complete the  Open Water Scuba Course.

 

Confined Water Dives:  You develop the basic skills that all divers need in a low stress environment.  It reinforces the knowledge development training by having student divers practice and apply what they learn from reading the manual.  There are 2 or 3 sessions in a pool.  Each session is about 3 to 4 hours.

 

Open Water Dives:  This completes your certification.  You put your new skills into practice and experience the underwater world.  The skills that you learned in confined water are repeated giving you the experience needed to dive safely.  These dives are held at beach 8th street Far Rockaway.  There will be 4 dives completed over 2 days,  4 to 6 hours each day.  During this time you will take an exam demonstrating your understanding of scuba  diving concepts.

Course Fee:  $500

 

Includes: text book, log book tables, certification card, all instructor fees, and SCUBA equipment for pool, Open Water equipment rental, air fills and certification dives.

 

 

PADI Advanced Open Water Classes - A diver who completes the Deep Dive, the Underwater Navigation Dive and three additional dives (5 total) earns the Advanced Certification Card

 

Dives for Advanced Certification are:

Aware - Fish identification, Boat Dive, Digital Underwater Photographer, Deep Dive, Drift Dive, Enriched Air, Multilevel Dive, Night Dive, Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive, Search and Recovery Dive, Underwater Naturalist Dive, Underwater Navigator and Wreck Dive

 

Each dive may be counted as the first dive of the related PADI Specialty Diver course.  Dive 1 of a PADI Specialty Diver course

 

Course Fee:  $250

 

Specialty Classes - The purpose of the PADI Specialty Diver courses is to familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards for various special interest area in diving.  All the Specialty courses does not need to be done on a dive boat.  Any specialty course that needs to be done or wants to be done on a dive boat are extra fees.

 

Deep Diver Course: After your first few scuba dives, you soon want to explore a bit deeper.  There’s something exciting and mysterious about the depth that attracts divers.  The fun part about this course is the opportunity to explore the deep.  It’s exhilarating. You will learn techniques for diving in the deeper range of 60-130 feet and deep scuba diving equipment considerations.

Not including price of the dive boat.

 

Enriched Air Course:  Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time.  This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives.  You can typically stay down longer and get back the water sooner.  No wonder many divers choose this as their very first Specialty Course

Multilevel Course:  The purpose of the PADI Multilevel Diver Specialty course is to familiarize divers with the enjoyment of multilevel diving  with eRDPml and / or with modern dive computers.

Night Course:  Is it natural curiosity?  Is it getting a new look at the familiar?  Could it be the vibrant changing colors of aquatic life?  Or, is it just because you can, that night diving is so popular?  Whatever the motivation to dive at night - you will find that the environment is quite different.

 

Number of dives 3                                             Course Fee:  $250

 

Peak Performance Buoyancy Course:  We will teach you how to polish your buoyancy control better than the Open Water level.  The goal of  Peak Performance Buoyancy training is to enhance the student buoyancy control abilities.

 

Number of dives 2                                              Course Fee:  $150

 

Search and Recovery Course:  Have you ever dropped something in the water?  Are you looking for lost “treasure”?  This Course will teach you effective ways to find objects underwater and bring them to the surface.  No matter if it is small or large there is a way to bring them up.

 

Number of dives 4                                             Course Fee:  $250

 

Underwater Navigator Course:  The best way to learn underwater navigation procedures and to apply them is by doing it.  This course philosophy  is to expand the students knowledge about environmental clues that help them to navigate, how to use a compass for precision, patterns that aid navigation.

Wreck Diver:  The fun part of wreck diver course is visiting wrecks, unlocking mysteries and starting to gain the knowledge and experience that allows you to see things that others overlook.  You will earn techniques for diving exploring shipwrecks, and how to avoid common hazards.  Wreck scuba diving equipment considerations and techniques for entering intact wrecks.

PADI Rescue Course - Rescue divers training expands the basic problem prevention and accidents management skills student divers learn beginning with the Open Water Diver Course.  At the Rescue diver level, Students are ready to learn to manage more complex dive emergencies and to apply direct intervention techniques to assist others in an emergency.  By its nature, the course is demanding, though realistic in its conduct, content and approach.  Although the nature and context in which rescue training may be used is serious, the course should be an enjoyable challenge that builds diver confidence.

 

Course Fee:  $350

 

 

PADI Master Scuba Course - Sharpen your skills with the PADI Master Scuba Diver Rating.  The Master Scuba Diver Rating is the highest recreational diver rating in the PADI Program, and denotes Superior achievement and proficiency.

 

In order to become a Master Scuba Diver you have:

 

· Advanced Open Water

· Rescue Diver

· Minimum of five Specialty Diver Specialty course

· Minimum of 50 Logged dives

 

Application Fee:  $75

 

 

PADI Divemaster - Course - Looking for the first step in working with scuba as a career?  Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the PADI Dive master Program.  Working closely with a PADI Instructor, in this Program you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level.  PADI Dive master training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification.

 

What you will learn:  During the PADI Dive master program, you learn dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study.  You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well s training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems as well as help others improve their scuba.  You put this knowledge into action through a structured internship or series of practical training or series of practical training exercises.

 

Course Fee: $600 plus $200 for the books
